MUTE MODE - DEPECHE MODE FINAL TOUR SHOWS / BERLIN

Usually I only attended one DEPECHE MODE Show per Tour.

In 2017 was so impressed by the current Energy of the Band on the Cologne Show, that I decided to even join the Frankfurt Show.

As the Band announced to play the two final Tour Shows in Berlin, I had to get Tickets for both Shows on July 23rd & 25th.

LaterI decided to do Special Events around the two Shows.

Sunday 22nd I'll do a MUTE MODE Show at 8mm Bar as a FINAL WARM-UP SHOW,

further dedicated to Martin Gore's Birthday Eve. I'll play many of his fave Tunes & some of his Solowork.

Monday 23rd I'll enjoy the 1st of the two Gigs.

On 25th I'll attend the very last Show of the Tour & then head to TOAST HAWAII for a very special party.

The MUTE MODE AFTERTOUR ALLNITER. My Guest DJ A.VVILDER will do the Warm-Up from 22h.

From Waldbühne it's easy to come to our Afterparty. Just get in the Line U2 direction of PANKOW

RUHRPOTT ALARM! FOOTBALL, ROCKERs, MODs & CLOCKWORK ORANGE!

After I already had the honour to join last years "POTTORIGINALE - ROADMOVIE",

the genius Starphotographer & Producer GERRIT STARCZEWSKI asked me to join his follow up Movie again.

It's a wild Mix of a Football Fanmovie, Hooliganism, Motoclubs, Mods, Rockers, Clockwork Orange.

Many Original Freaks from Ruhrtopia & the Scene! After a long DJ-Set in Amsterdam the Nite before until 6 am,

I drove directly to the Cult Stadium close to Gelsenkirchen to join this crazy Massacre!

My Highlight: DJ Hell was on the Set & said:"I recognize the Name PSYCHO-JONES".

I felt honoured & answered:"Sure from the first Pottoriginale Movie!"

Last Monday I finally made it to a premiere of the first Movie, including a short scene with me in it.

Some of my Buddies went to the premieres before & said, they didnt see me in the Movie at all.

So i was afraid, my scene was deleted, though my name was in the Credits.

Before the Movie started in Cologne the Filmmaker Gerrit Starczewski

introduced his team & the actors who where there aswell.

Finally he pointed out on my & wanted me to come to the front & told some stuff about me.

So my Scene was still in the movie. Lucky me! For all Buddies, who missed my scene:

Keep watching even after the credits. Its like a hidden track on a Record.

DISCO 2000 - The Return of Psycho-Jones,

this was the name of the first party of Mr. Jones in Mainz in 1998.
And that kicked off all the trouble. Cool parties with alternative music, great decoration, video games,
Vintage Movies and more. No fucking mainstream, no Viva & MTV nonsense. No Eurodance etc ...
The focus was on Britpop & Indie. With a Breeze Punk, Wave, Triphop, Bigbeat, Electropop.
Oasis, Blur, Pulp, Suede, Smiths, Cure, Joy Division, Depeche Mode, Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim, Pizzicato 5 and more ...
This is how it works today aswell. Guest DJs from all over Germany are planned for the upcoming events in 2018.
DISCO 2000 was already in the old SCHICK & SCHÖN at the Südbahnhof, in the Red Cat, in the Circus Maximus etc ...
And finally back in Mainz now
2nite Psycho-Jones celebrates with mostly British Lala the exit from the Brexit.
The Brits dot it better, at least when it comes to music ...
